Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information






Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-9100

Condition
The engine control module (ECM) receives a signal from the clutch pedal switch via a direct connection. The engine control module also receives information on clutch pedal position from the central electronic module (CEM) via the CAN network. The central electronic module receives this information from the clutch pedal sensor. The control module compares both the signals.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The signals do not correspond with each other.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.

Note! The diagnostic trouble code can also be generated i the clutch pedal sensor is damaged.

Substitute value
Cruise control switched off.

Possible source
- Damaged clutch pedal switch.
- Damaged cable harness.
- Damaged clutch position sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- Autostart; No Functionality
- Cruise control does not function at all.
- Message in information display
