Condition




Engine Control Module (ECM) checks the starter motor relay. If Engine Control Module (ECM) registers that the starter motor relay's signal cable has a voltage that is higher than a certain limit value for a certain time, this is interpreted as a malfunction and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is generated.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when starting the engine.

- Only manual start possible.

- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable.
- Damaged starter motor relay.
- Damaged control module.
