Condition
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the engine cooling fan control module registers that the temperature in the driver stage for the engine cooling fan control module is too high or if the fan blade is blocked.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed during the engine start process.

- Engine cooling fan (FC) switched off.

- Obstructed fan blade
- Damaged engine cooling fan (FC) control module.
