Signal too high

Checking the component and wiring
Check the resistance of the evaporative emission system (EVAP) valve.
Check the signal cable between engine control module (ECM) terminal #A50 (#A50) and evaporative emission system (EVAP) valve terminal #2. Check for a short-circuit to supply voltage.
Remedy as necessary.

- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on
- Activate the evaporative emission system (EVAP) valve.
A click should be heard when the evaporative emission system (EVAP) valve is activated.
