Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information DIM-0009

Condition

There are two fuel level sensors in cars with a saddle fuel tank. They are connected directly to the central electronic module (CEM). The central electronic module (CEM) forwards the signals to the driver information module (DIM) via the CAN network.
The driver information module (DIM) compares the signals and compiles them to ascertain the total fuel level in the tank.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the driver information module (DIM) detects that the difference between the signals is too great.
