Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-8D08
Condition
The central electronic module (CEM) powers the left-hand stop lamp directly via an output. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal from the output is faulty.
The DTC can be diagnosed with the key removed, in ignition position 0, I or II.

- None.
Possible source
- Short-circuit to battery voltage in the signal cable to the right-hand stop lamp
- Open-circuit in the signal cable to the left-hand stop lamp.
Fault symptom[s]
- The stop lamps do not light when the brake pedal is pressed
- The stop lamp lights constantly.
