Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-8D05

Condition




The central electronic module (CEM) powers the right-hand stop lamp directly via an output. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal from the output is too low.
The DTC can be diagnosed when the key is removed, in ignition position 0, I or II and with the stop lamp activated.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the signal cable to the right-hand stop lamp.

Fault symptom[s]
- The stop lamp does not light when the brake pedal is depressed.
