Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-8B05

Condition
The central electronic module (CEM) powers the following lamps directly via an output:
- Front right-hand parking lamps
- Right-hand side parking lamps
- Rear left-hand parking lamps.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the power consumption in this circuit is too low.
The relay for the parking lamp must not be activated for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) to be stored.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable to the lamp circuit
- Open-circuit in the signal cable to the lamp circuit
- One or more lamps are defective or missing.

Fault symptom[s]
- The parking lamps do not work
- The parking lamps cannot be switched off.
