Condition




The central electronic module (CEM) checks the luminance of the instrument lighting via an output.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers a short-circuit to ground in the output for the instrument lighting.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed at key positions I and II.

- None.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to battery voltage in the signal cable to the instrument lighting / fuel tank filler cap.

Fault symptom[s]
- The instrument lighting does not operate.
