Condition
The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal is too low or that there is no input signal from the rheostat.
The diagnostic trouble code can be diagnosed when the ignition is on and the rheostat is not active.

- None.
Possible source
- The rheostat is short-circuited to ground.
- Open-circuit in the signal cable
- Damaged light switch.
