Checking the wiring








- Ignition off
- Disconnect the sun roof module (SRM) connector.
Check the power cable. Check for an open-circuit. Check for a short-circuit to ground.
Take readings between:
- Central electronic module (CEM) terminal #H18 (#32) and sun roof module (SRM) terminal #2.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Use the sun roof switch to activate the automatic closing function when the vehicle is maintaining a speed above 90 km/h.
The sun roof must close automatically without being affected by the airflow.
Check that the function is OK.
