Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information CEM-4F33
Condition
The Central electronic module (CEM) calculates the battery temperature using the outdoor temperature, vehicle speed, power supply position and engine coolant temperature. The control module checks the status of the input signals to determine the reliability of the calculation.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- One or more input signals missing for more than 2 minutes.
- One or more input signals are of poor quality.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
Substitute value
- 55 °C, which results in 13.5 V supply voltage from the battery.
Possible source
- Internal fault in transmitting sensor.
- Internal fault in the brake control module (BCM).
- Internal fault in the central electronic module (CEM).
Fault symptom[s]
- None.
