Condition




The central electronic module (CEM) checks the function of the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) in the driver information module (DIM) when the ignition key is turned from position 0 to position I or II. The malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) must light for a short time when the ignition is switched on and then go out.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that the signal is too high.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed with the ignition in positions I or II.
