Condition




The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the brake control module (BCM) registers an implausible signal from the pedal position sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is on and the brake is depressed and released. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can occur together with BCM-0068.

Substitute value
For cars equipped with TRACS
- Traction Control on the rear wheels is blocked.
For other vehicles
- None.

- Open-circuit in the wiring
- Short-circuit to ground or supply voltage in the wiring
- Incorrectly installed pedal position sensor
- The pedal position sensor is not working
- The brake control module (BCM) is not working.
