Condition





Note! The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) applies only to cars with dynamic stability and traction control (DSTC).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the brake control module (BCM) registers that active yaw control (AYC) is regulating continuously for more than 15 seconds.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed after driving straight for 15 seconds.

Substitute value
- Traction Control is blocked
- Stability Control is blocked
- Active yaw control is blocked.

Possible source
- Incorrectly installed steering wheel
- Incorrect wheel alignment
- Loose or incorrectly installed body sensor cluster stability sensor (BSC)
- The body sensor cluster stability sensor (BSC) is not functioning.

Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.

Fault symptom[s]
- The information lamp is lit
- Traction control does not function
- The stability control system does not function.
