- Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

If the status of the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is intermittent, the cause was a temporary disruption.

Yes - FAULT FOUND

No - Replacing the hydraulic modulator

The brake control module (BCM) has registered an internal fault in the hydraulic modulator.
Remedy as necessary.

- Ignition off
- Reconnect the connectors, components, etc.
- Ignition on
- Read off the pressure from the brake system
- Depress the brake pedal.
The brake pressure must increase with increased pedal pressure.

Yes - VERIFIED

No - VERIFICATION FAILED
