Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information BCM-0105

Condition

Note! The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) applies only to cars with dynamic stability and traction control (DSTC).

The steering wheel module (SWM) transmits signals from the steering wheel angle sensor on the control area network (CAN) from where they are retrieved by the brake control module (BCM). The brake control module (BCM) calculates an offset value, correction value, for the individual sensor offset. The value is calculated using the signals from the wheel sensors, the yaw rate sensor and the lateral accelerometer. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the brake control module (BCM) registers that the reference signal is outside the parameter.

Substitute value
- Traction Control is blocked
- Stability Control is blocked
- Active yaw control is blocked.
