Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information BCM-0095
Condition
Note! The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) applies only to cars with all-wheel drive (AWD) and dynamic stability and traction control (DSTC).
The differential electronic module (DEM) indicates to the brake control module (BCM) when four wheel drive is activated. The brake control module (BCM) requests the opening of the coupling for four wheel drive so that it can calculate the reference speed of the car. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the differential electronic module (DEM) transmits information that the coupling is not functioning.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.
Substitute value
- Stability Control is blocked
- Traction Control is blocked
- Active yaw control is blocked.
Hint: Brake system, abbreviations Brake System, Abbreviations
Possible source
- Internal fault in the differential electronic module (DEM).
Note! This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not due to an internal hardware fault in the Brake control module (BCM) and must not be remedied by replacing the control module.
