Checking the component and wiring
- Ignition off
- Disconnect the connector for the center loudspeaker.
Check the cable terminals. Check for contact resistance, loose connections and oxidation.
Note! Only visually check the treble loudspeaker. Check for oxidation and loose connections. Do not carry out any electrical fault-tracing on the treble loudspeaker.
Check the cable terminals in the female and male sections of the connector. The cable terminals must not be damaged or pressed back.
Check the signal cable between audio module (AUD) terminal #B10 and center loudspeaker terminal #1. Check for an open-circuit.
Check the signal cable between audio module (AUD) terminal #B2 and center loudspeaker terminal #2. Check for an open-circuit.
Hint: Check the connector between the Audio module (AUD) and the center loudspeaker. Check for contact resistance, play and oxidation.
Check the center loudspeaker connector terminals #1 and 2. Check for an open-circuit.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.
- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Check that there is sound heard from the loudspeakers for the audio module (AUD) by trying the FM/AM radio, CD or MD player.
