Signal Missing






Signal missing

Checking the component and wiring








- Ignition off
- Unplug the connector for the rear left loudspeaker.
Check the cable terminals. Check for contact resistance, loose connections and oxidation.

Note! Only visually check the treble loudspeaker. Check for oxidation and loose connections. Do not carry out any electrical fault-tracing on the treble loudspeaker.

Check the cable terminals in the female and male sections of the connector. The cable terminals must not be damaged or pressed back.
Check the signal cable between the Audio module (AUD) #B4 and the left rear loudspeaker #2 for open circuit.
Check the signal cable between the Audio module (AUD) #B12 and the left rear loudspeaker #1 for open circuit.
Check the rear left loudspeaker's connector #1 and #2 for open circuit.
Remedy as necessary.

Hint: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied.








- Ignition off
- Reinstall the connectors, components etc.
- Ignition on.
Check that there is sound heard from the loudspeakers for the audio module (AUD) by trying the FM/AM radio, CD or MD player.
