Removal

Note! Shift the gear selector into neutral position.

Remove the following items:
- battery negative lead. Refer to: Battery disconnecting and connecting Battery Disconnecting and Connecting
- the air cleaner housing. Refer to: Air cleaner housing, B6324S5, B6324S4 Service and Repair Air cleaner housing, B6304T4 Service and Repair.






Caution! Make sure that the terminals or pins/sockets of the transmission control module (TCM) and the connectors are not bent or damaged.

Torque: Gear selector mechanism (nut), 16 Nm






Installation






Note! Take care that the arrows point towards each other.

To install, reverse the removal procedure

Order software for the control module.

Calibrate the transmission range sensor. See: VIDA vehicle information.
