DESCRIPTION:
A new generation Power Operated Tailgate drive unit will be introduced structure week 2013w12.
This new Power Operated tailgate drive unit is backwards compatible to Power Operated Tailgate drive units built in to cars produced between structure week 2011w02 -2013w11.
SERVICE:
When replacing the POT (Power Operated Tailgate) drive units on cars built between structure week 2011w02-2013w11 and you order and receive material with part number 31335845, follow normal VIDA instruction.
When replacing the POT (Power Operated Tailgate) drive units on cars built between structure week 2011w02-2013w11 and you order 31335845 but receive part with part number 31386722, a software download will need to be performed.
Please download new software part number 31402331.
