DESCRIPTION:
Volvo has identified that the headlight washer pump may interfere with the correct operation of the washer level fluid sensor. Drivers may not receive any information in the Driver Information Module (DIM) when the washer fluid level is low.

SERVICE:
The corrective action on XC60 models is to rotate the washer pump in the reservoir to a new position. On S40, V50, C70, and C30 models the corrective action is the installation of a protective sleeve between the washer pump and washer reservoir.
