Removal

Note! Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Caution! Make sure that the clockspring rotor does not rotate.

Vehicles manufactured up to chassis number: 2050099

Remove the following items:
- steering wheel Refer to: Steering wheel Service and Repair
- Panel steering column Refer to: Panel steering column Service and Repair
- Control stalk, left Refer to: Control stalk, left Service and Repair
- Control stalk, right Refer to: Control stalk, right Service and Repair





Caution! Make sure that the clockspring pins are not bent or damaged.

Torque: Steering wheel control module to steering column, 0.9 Nm

Vehicles manufactured from chassis number: 2050099

Remove the following items:
- steering wheel Refer to: Steering wheel Service and Repair
- Panel steering column Refer to: Panel steering column Service and Repair





Caution! Make sure that the clockspring pins are not bent or damaged.

Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
