Trailer module, TRM



























INTRODUCTION
- NOTE! Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.
- The illustrations display the procedure in order of operation. The order of operation is repeated in the text






Trailer module, TRM





- Turn the ignition key to position 0.

Note! Wait at least three minutes before disassembling the connectors or removing other electrical equipment.


















- Measure from the front lug to the bracket for the parking assistance camera and forward as illustrated.
- Wash clean the surface in front of the measurement using isopropanol and wipe dry.





- Clean the marked flat surfaces on the trailer module (TRM) using isopropanol and wipe dry.





- Take the Velcro strips from the kit and cut them in the middle to create four equal parts.





- Press the Velcro strips two and two.





- Remove the protective tape from one side of the two attached Velcro strips.





- Press the Velcro strips onto the trailer module (TRM) as illustrated.





- Remove the protective tape from the Velcro fasteners.





- Connect the gray 2 pin and green 5 pin pre-routed connector to the trailer module (TRM).
- Measure as illustrated and press the trailer module (TRM) onto the cleaned surface. Ensure that the module's left long side is not against the floor's vertical bend.


















- Take a 40 A fuse from the kit and install it in position FA 11 in module RJB-A.
