Drain the refrigerant from the A/C system according to: Refrigerant, draining Refrigerant, Draining.





Torque: M8, 24 Nm





Torque: M5, 5 Nm





Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Installation

Change and lubricate the O-rings with compressor oil.

To install, reverse the removal procedure

Vacuum pump the air conditioning (A/C) system. See: Vacuum pumping Vacuum Pumping.
Fill the A/C system with refrigerant according to: Refrigerant, filling Refrigerant, Filling.
Carry out leak detection of the A/C system in accordance with: Leak detection, tracer agent Leak Detection, Tracer Agent or Leak tracing, electronic leak tracer Leak Tracing, Electronic Leak Tracer.

Carry out a performance test on the climate control system. Climate control system, check Climate Control System, Check.
