control module




The infotainment control module (ICM) has an integrated display and a directly connected keypad.
The display shows information about the function which is active. It also displays information when selecting functions and preferences for the system. The graphic display consists of a field with 256*64 pixels.

The infotainment control module (ICM) has inputs and outputs for:
- power supply
- ground
- Infotainment keypad
- CAN-network (Controller Area Network)
- LIN-communication
- MOST network
When replacing the control module reprogramming is required.
The control module can be diagnosed.

Navigation system remote control




There are two remote controls for the infotainment system. The navigation system remote control is used to control the navigation system remotely.
The IR receiver is in the keypad on the centre console.

Infotainment remote control




The infotainment remote control is used for activating most functions that can be controlled via the infotainment keypad, the Climate control module (CCM) and via the buttons on the steering wheel.
The IR receiver is in the keypad on the centre console.

Infotainment keypad




The infotainment keypad is in the centre console above the Climate control module (CCM). The infrared sensor is between the AM button and the Eject button.
The infotainment keypad can be diagnosed.
