DESCRIPTION:
A CEL (Check Engine Light) and "ENGINE SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED" message may be displayed in the Driver Information Module (DIM) due to DTC ECM P125000, pinpointing the throttle. Analysis shows that this is caused by a too sensitive calibration of ECM software (SW).
PRODUCT MODIFICATION: New ECM SW was developed during structure week 2010w23 (see chassis ranges above).
SERVICE: Upgrade the ECM with latest ECM SW.
SINCE THIS IS ECM SW RELATED, DO NOT REPLACE ANY COMPONENTS DUE TO THIS DTC.
