Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information SRS-U015400

Condition
The control module is continually supplied with necessary information from the Occupant weight sensor (OWS) via CAN communication on sensor-CAN. The control module checks communication with Occupant weight sensor (OWS).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Communication on sensor-CAN with Occupant weight sensor (OWS) missing.
- Incorrect value runs longer than 2.5 seconds.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts when:
- Ignition position II and III.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
