Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information
Condition
The driver door/passenger door module (DDM/PDM) checks the signal from the central lock button.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The button has been held in for longer than one minute.
- Voltage on the signal cable is too low.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- None.
Possible source
- Button has jammed in the pressed in position.
- The signal cable is short-circuited to ground.
- Moisture and/or oxidation in terminals.
- Damaged control panel.
Fault symptom[s]
- Doors/Power locking (button in door panel) does not work
- Door trim panels/Interior door lock does not work
- Central locking does not operate
