Preparatory work

Ignition off




Ignition off.
Raise the vehicle in accordance with: Jacking points body Locations

Removal

Removing position sensor





Remove:
- 1 M6 nut
- the position sensor
- screws bracket, 2 pcs.
- the connector

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Tightening torque [1][2]Specifications

Installing position sensor

Install:
- the connector
- screws bracket, 2 pcs.
- the position sensor
- the nut, M6 x1.

Finishing

Calibration of position sensor
Lower the vehicle.
When replacing the position sensor the new position sensor must be calibrated. Carry out calibration according to VIDA vehicle communication, Function area 3 Electrical system, Central electronic module (CEM).
