AFFECTED VEHICLES

DESCRIPTION:

There may be customer complaints indicating intermittent function or no function of the rear wiper motor on V70, XC70 and XC60.

Note:
The rear wiper motor is protected from thermal overheating. When the motor becomes too warm the motor is switched off to cool down. When the motor is cooled down it will be switched on again. The minimum cool down time is 30 seconds.





MATERIALS

SERVICE:





If the concern is verified, replace the rear wiper motor according to VIDA. Add grease at the wiper arm joint. Verify the function.
