DESCRIPTION:
Harsh ride and popping noise from the front struts may occur when driving on uneven roads or over speed bumps, often at cold ambient temperature.
The symptom can easily be mistaken for defective front struts but the root cause is most often the bump stops.
PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
A bump stop made of softer material has been introduced.
SERVICE:
Replace both front bump stops. There is no need to replace the struts.
