AFFECTED VEHICLES
DESCRIPTION:
As of structure week 2008w46 on P1X, 2008w48 on XC90 (see note shown previously above) and start of production for the upcoming XC60, Integrated USB/iPod and HD-radio (Hybrid Digital radio for USA only) functions have been introduced for the IAM (integrated Audio Module) on High Performance and Premium (DynAudio) Sound levels.
The current version of VIDA does not reflect the change in the IAM part number.
SERVICE:
Should an IAM (Integrated Audio Module) need to be replaced, please refer to the matrices below for the correct part number. Only IAM's that are identified as "backwards compatible" in the matrix will be possible to install in vehicles with a structure week earlier than the listed one in the matrix header.
The IAM part number can be identified by reading the Hardware part number in;
VIDA>SOFTWARE>ADVANCED. The vehicle structure week can be read in diagnostics>vehicle details
