Checking power consuming components when driving
The generator (GEN) has been designed to provide the car with sufficient current for normal electrical loads when driving. The battery functions as a buffer for extreme consumption or driving conditions. The battery may not charge sufficiently on cars with extra components or systems which consume energy when driving. The battery may not have time to charge if many start attempts are made with subsequently short journeys.
Check if the car is equipped with extra equipment which consumes energy.
Check if the car battery is the correct specification.
Remedy as necessary.
