Quick-release connector belt

Preparatory work

Adjusting the seat position
Move the seat as far forward as possible.

Removal

Removing front end mountings




Remove the front seat side panel. See: Side panel front seat Side Panel Front Seat.
Insert a screwdriver on the inside of the end mounting. Remove the seat belt by pressing the catch inwards and pulling upwards.
Remove the M10 screw and remove the end mounting.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see: Tightening torque, B6304T4, B6324S4, B6324S5 [1][2]Body and Frame Tightening torque [1][2]Body and Frame.

Installing the front end mounting

Install:
- the end mounting using the M10 screw. Tighten
- the seat belt
- the side panel as described in Side panel front seat Side Panel Front Seat.

Finishing

Checking the seat belt function and supplementary restraint system
Check the function of the belt as described in Seat belt function, check Testing and Inspection.
Carry out an inspection of the supplementary restraint system. See: Supplementary restraint system (SRS), inspection Testing and Inspection.
