DESCRIPTION:

When diagnosing a condition in which the brake lights stay on or the cruise control does not work, attention should be paid to the adjustment of the brake light switch.

SERVICE:

Perform a new adjustment of the brake light switch. If the switch is removed from the brake pedal box, as indicated in VIDA, with the brake pedal fully upwards, the switch is then in factory state after removing, and can be re-used.
