Volvo Cars of North America, LLC. has decided to launch a service campaign on certain model year 2007 - 2010 S80, 2008 - 2010 V70 & XC70 and 2010 XC60 vehicles equipped with engine VIN code 98 & 99 Short Inline 6 cylinder (Si6) engines.

Volvo has identified that the cylinder head coolant bleeder hose o-ring may start to leak, due to incorrect material used in the o-rings. If this condition occurs, the coolant level may drop and a Driver Information
Module (DIM) message stating "LOW COOLANT LEVEL" may appear along with a red warning triangle.

The corrective action is to replace the coolant bleeder hose on all eligible vehicles per the instructions in Retailer Tech Journal (RTJ) # 21527.
