Grille, front























INTRODUCTION
- NOTE! Read through the whole installation instruction before starting the work.
- The illustrations display the procedure in order of operation. The order of operation is repeated in the text section






Grille, front


Applies to the S80 and V70




- Remove the five screws in the leading edge of the wheel housing on both sides.


Applies to the XC70




- Remove the four screws in the leading edge of the wheel housing on both sides.


Applies to all models




- Remove the seven clips in the upper edge of the bumper casing.





- Remove the three plastic clips in the lower edge of the bumper casing.






Hint: Get help from a colleague when doing this work.

- Fold out the bumper casing's ends on both sides, they are installed with two clips to the front fender and three under the headlight.
- If the vehicle is equipped with fog lights or parking assistance, loosen the connectors for these.





- Tilt the bumper casing forward to access the rear of the grille.





- Take a weatherstrip tool and carefully pry up the holes for the grille's catches all the way around so that they can be pushed out and the grille removed. Place to one side. A new grille can be found in the kit.





- Clean the area where the old grille was located.





- Take a new grille from the kit. Ensure that all catches engage.
