Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information MMM-U300098

Condition
The Multimedia module (MMM) checks its internal temperature.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The temperature is higher than 85 °C.

Note! The DTC may be stored at high ambient temperatures. Only replace the Multimedia module (MMM) in the event of a direct customer complaint about DTC MMM-U300098 being stored.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- Switched off control module.

Possible source
- Ambient temperature too high.
- Power consumption too high in the control module.
- Damaged multimedia module (MMM).
