Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information






Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information MMM-U200531

Condition
The multimedia module (MMM) is continually supplied information on vehicle speed. The multimedia module (MMM) has an integrated GPS receiver that calculates vehicle speed. Information on vehicle speed is sent from the brake control module (BCM) to the infotainment control module (ICM) via CAN. The infotainment control module (ICM) forwards information to the multimedia module (MMM) via MOST.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Vehicle speed has exceeds 36 km/h (22 mph) for 10 seconds according to the speed calculation in the GPS receiver.
- No vehicle speed signal on the MOST network.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
