Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information HCM-U043A86

Condition
The control module is continually supplied with necessary information from the Suspension module (SUM) via CAN communication. Suspension module (SUM) sends sensor signals from front and rear position sensors to the control module. The control module checks that the value of the signal is within valid range.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The value of the signal is outside valid range, 0 to +5V.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
