Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-P096300
Condition
The solenoid is controlled by power stages at the output of the transmission control module (TCM).
The transmission control module (TCM) opens the power stages to activate the solenoids and sends a voltage through the circuit.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The measured current value is higher than permitted in the circuit for solenoid SLT.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition on.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 1 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started. Emergency mode in the event of a fault Emergency Mode In Case Of Malfunction
Possible source
- Control signal lead short-circuited to voltage.
- Linear pressure solenoid not working.
- Internal fault in the transmission control module (TCM).
Fault symptom[s]
- General warning lamp lit
- Malfunction indicator light (MIL), on
- Abnormal slipping gearshifts
- Rough gear shift
- No gear shift
