Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) controls the hydraulic operation of the tailgate.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Signal voltage from the hydraulic motor is below 1 V.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated control module.

Substitute value
- Limited functionality in Power-Operated Tailgate Module (POT).

Possible source
- The cable harness to the hydraulic pump motor has a short-circuit to ground.
- Damaged hydraulic pump motor.

Fault symptom[s]
- Tailgate/trunk lid/Hard to open
- Tailgate/trunk lid/Hard to close
- Tailgate/trunk lid/Power locking does not work
