Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information TCM-P077700

Condition
Transmission control module (TCM) activates solenoids S1 and S2 when 1st gear is engaged and at engine braking.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The wheels lock when downshifting from 4th to 3rd gear.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Normal driving.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- Auxiliary program Emergency mode 1 in the transmission control module (TCM) has started.

Hint: Emergency mode in the event of a fault Emergency Mode In Case Of Malfunction

Possible source
- Solenoid S2 has jammed in the ON position.
- Hydraulic fault in the transmission.

Fault symptom[s]
- Text window and warning symbol/Yellow symbol and text message
- Warning lights and chimes/Malfunction Indicator Light ("Check engine" light) indication/no indication
