Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information HCM-B1D6901
Condition
The bulb housing has a sensor for side control. The sensor is checked by Right headlamp control unit (RHCU). The Headlamp Control Module (HCM) communicates with the Right headlamp control unit (RHCU).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Right headlamp control unit (RHCU) detects incorrect signal from sensor side control.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- Contact resistance, oxidation or poor contact in connections.
- Damaged sensor.
- Damaged Right headlamp control unit (RHCU).
