Condition
The parking assistance camera (PAC) module converts the video signal from the camera so that it can be viewed on the high level display front (HLDF). The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control module video coder is not working.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The control module video coder is not working.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
- Reverse gear is engaged.

Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.





Substitute value
- The high level display front (HLDF) module shows a monochrome image.
