Condition




Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) checks the voltage over the motor for the tailgate's locking function.
The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:
- Direct current (DC) is too low.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Opening of the tailgate lock unit has been activated.

- The opening motor cable harness has a short-circuit to ground.
- Damaged opening motor.
