Condition
Climate control module (CCM) checks the status of the fan and temperature sensor in the passenger compartment. In order that the passenger compartment temperature sensor shall not be affected by surrounding electronics, a fan blows air from the passenger compartment at the sensor.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The signal from the fan is high.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position I and II.

Possible source
- Open circuit on the line for voltage feed to the fan, or the voltage supply is short-circuited to voltage.
