Condition
Central electronic module (CEM) checks communication with Start control module (SCU). To enable vehicle start, the Start control module (SCU) and central electronic module (CEM) must be connected to each other via codes.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- A message from Start control module (SCU) indicates that the control module has not been programmed.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Communication with Start control module (SCU).
Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
